What is LiPS?
Ladies in Property Suffolk was created by Jacqueline Cumiskey, an employee at IPSERV Ltd, Ipswich Borough Council & Group Companies along with Nadine Coleman who wanted to provide a networking space for women in the construction industry and give them the opportunity to form strategic business relationships and alliances.
The goal of LiPS is to continuously provide regular networking events, promote roles in the industry to young female women and impart knowledge via keynote speakers to the attendees of the bi-annual meetings.
LiPS launched in Spring 2015 at the Council Chamber offices Endeavour House and since then have met at iconic buildings often including a tour of the property. The event has grown to an attendance of 60 women across more than 40 companies and continues to grow.
All women working in the construction, property, land, and facilities management sector are welcome and invited to attend the networking events held.

“We want to continue to reach out to young women and help give them the courage to break from gender roles."

Testimonials

After 10 events the LiPS events are firmly in the calendar for the growing number of attendees. The dynamic speakers and breadth of topics is underpinned by the sponsors and hosts of iconic buildings in Suffolk. I am pleased that attendees span the CEO of local authority to Chair of industry groups and over 40 companies.

"We had such a fantastic response to our first event that we brought back the second event forward by popular demand. We're thrilled to see Suffolk ladies from the property industry coming together to network and make friendships, just as we had hoped they would."
