Ladies In Property Suffolk announce 11th networking event after Covid hiatus announce
30th September 2022
A Suffolk networking event aimed at empowering women in property will return to Ipswich next month following a two-year hiatus.
The biggest names in Suffolk business will come together at the return The Ladies in Property Suffolk (LiPS) networking group on Tuesday evening, October 11, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. The event is being sponsored and hosted by Ashtons Legal at their iconic Waterfront House building on Wherry Quay in Ipswich.
The event will see women from the construction, property, land and facilities management sectors come together alongside three keynote speakers.
Helen Rudd, managing director of Prominent will welcome the group, with Paul Whittingham, a member of Ashtons’ Corporate and Commercial Team talking guests through the history of their waterfront office.
Local historian John Field will then talk about the Waterfront regeneration project.
A third presentation on mental health in workplace will be delivered by Lucy Pakes, HR Business Partner at Ashtons.
Jac Cumiskey, founding member of LiPS and Property Manager at Ipserv Ltd, said: “We’re thrilled to be hosting our eleventh LiPS after such long time off due to Covid.
“We’re sure the event will be as popular as it has been in the past and we’re excited to get everyone together again.
“We once again extend our thanks to all sponsors who have supported us to put the event on once again and we look forward to a really successful event.”
Helen Rudd, whose PR business Prominent, has sponsored the event since its inception in 2015, said: “It is great to finally see a LiPS event back in our calendars after so long.
“Events like these are so important in providing a networking space for women and enabling new strategic relationships to be built in what really is a flourishing sector here in Suffolk.
“I look forward to meeting inspiring businesswomen from across the country and learning more about their journeys.”
LiPS was founded to provide a networking space for women in the property industry and to give them the opportunity to form strategic business relationships and friendships, with more than 60 women attending the twice-yearly events.
The event is free to attend.
Those wishing to attend should RSVP via Eventbrite.
